Every time we cast a show for Tongue in Cheek, it is no small task. How to describe the roles so the right kind of people submit? How to review submissions and bring in people who are equally talented and good members of an ensemble?
In the case of OUR TOWN, it was an especially large undertaking: 1,000 actors submitting, shifting through all those many e-mails, calling in 130 actors, auditioning people over over two days, and finally: casting 17 roles.
Thank you to all who submitted, and especially to those who came in. It was a truly lovely group whose talent made our job of casting the show that much harder.
